Registered and experienced therapists providing safe and effective treatment. Acupuncture is an ancient healing practice that originated in China thousands of years ago. It involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the flow of energy and promote healing. Today, acupuncture is widely recognized as a safe and effective treatment for a wide range of conditions, from pain and inflammation to anxiety and depression.

Acupuncture and Dry-Needling?
While both dry needling and acupuncture use fine needles, their techniques and goals are distinct.
Acupuncture involves placing multiple needles in various points across the body or a specific area. These points may include nerves, trigger points, or traditional Chinese medicine meridians. The treatment is typically painless, as the needles are inserted shallowly. Sessions last 10–20 minutes and promote relaxation while addressing pain through neurophysiological and hormonal changes in the nervous system.
Dry Needling (IMS – Intramuscular Stimulation) focuses on targeting specific trigger points or “knots” in a muscle with a single needle. This technique involves deeper, repeated insertion into the muscle tissue and may cause some discomfort. Treatments are shorter, lasting only a few minutes, and can be seamlessly integrated into physiotherapy sessions.
How They Work:
Acupuncture relieves pain by relaxing muscles, altering nervous system activity, and promoting chemical and hormonal changes.
Dry Needling releases tight muscles, stimulates healing through localized inflammation, and restarts the body’s natural recovery process.
For chronic or persistent conditions, both methods are effective options and can complement each other in your treatment plan.

-Muscle spasms, aches, tension and trigger point
-Headaches
-Inflammatory impairments (tendonitis, bursitis, fasciitis, and other conditions)
-Neck pain and Joint Pain (shoulder, knee, elbow, wrist, ankle)
